Let’s face it we are all missing a motorhome holiday at the minute. The Coronavirus outbreak has changed day-to-day life in a way that nobody could have predicted.
But things will improve. Things will get back to normal again soon and we here at Cara are already looking forward to our next motorhome holiday.
So to give you all something to look forward to, let’s have a look at four motorhome holiday destinations that you could visit in the UK when all this ends.
The Lake District
England’s largest National park. Take a motorhome holiday here and you can drive through lush green dales, visit the vibrant villages or quiet hamlets. It’s a great place to take a boat trip across one of the many lakes, including Lake Windermere and Coniston.
It’s a great place for families who enjoy outdoor activities as there are plenty of things located here to keep your kids excited during the holiday. The Lake District is one of the most visited places all year round which is why lots of holiday parks are located here.
Devon and Cornwall
Does your motorhome holiday need a long drive? Well the south of England offers spectacular scenery, sweeping moors, colourful countryside, clean beaches and charming coastal towns.
From North Devon to the South coast, the whole of this area is within easy reach when you are behind the wheel of your motorhome.
In Cornwall, there are lots of great camping locations, especially some that have kids club during the half terms. So even on the days where you just want to relax at the campsite, your kids can be enjoying some outdoor fun.
Looking for a short motorhome holiday from us here at Cara? Then the obvious location is always North Wales. Full of green valleys and quiet beaches, which are all you will need for a great family break.
You can enjoy the great coastal areas famous for their lobster and take a trip across the bridge to Anglesey. What better way to see Wales than by bringing your own accommodation along with you. North Wales offers some of the most beautiful scenery can literally be on your door step.
Will your motorhome holiday take you to the North East? Well for families who love the Harry Potter series, Alnwick Castle is a place you have to visit this year. This is a chance for the family to enjoy broomstick training in Harry Potters courtyard. Alnwick Castle was the home of Hogwarts during the filming for the movies.
The broomstick training is completely free the only charge is the entry to the castle itself which you can visit and once you’ve completed your training. Enjoy the long sweeping beaches, windswept countryside and of course sample the famous kippers from Craster.
Whatever place your motorhome holiday will take you don’t forget our motorhomes will get you there with the comfort of a five-year extended warranty.
